Your data, plainly

  • Calls and transcripts are never used to train AI models.
  • PHIPA-aware for clinics: data stays in a Canadian boundary; recordings kept only as long as you choose.
  • You hear exactly how it sounds before anything goes live.

Before it goes live

What you’ll review before launch.

  • The voice and greeting — you hear and approve exactly how it sounds
  • The answers it may give — mapped from your call types, nothing beyond them
  • The handoff rules — what transfers, what becomes a message, how fast
  • The booking rules — which calendar, which slots, what needs a human first

Nothing goes live until you’ve signed off on all four.

FAQ

Straight answers about ai voice receptionist.

Will it sound robotic?

You hear exactly how it sounds — the voice, the greeting, the answers — and approve it before anything goes live. And when it isn’t sure about something, it hands off to a human instead of bluffing. That combination matters more than any demo we could play you.

Why is this monthly when everything else is one-time?

Because it runs on live phone and AI infrastructure that we operate, monitor and keep healthy for you — that’s ongoing work, priced honestly as a monthly service. There’s no lock-in: cancel anytime.

What happens to urgent calls?

They reach a human. You set the rules: emergencies transfer to you instantly, other calls become an immediate message with the caller’s number and what they needed.

Is it private? What about patient information?

Calls and transcripts are never used to train AI models, and recordings are kept only as long as you choose. For clinics, the build is PHIPA-aware — data stays in a Canadian boundary.

Can it book into my booking or practice software?

Where your system allows it, yes — booked directly. Where it doesn’t — many practice systems, Jane included, keep their schedules closed to outside software — the receptionist takes the booking request with every detail, and your team confirms it in one tap from the call summary. We confirm which path your system supports before you sign.

Which systems are limited, so I know up front?

Honestly: most of them. Square and Cal.com calendars take direct bookings today. Jane has no open access for outside software at all — bookings there go through your own online-booking flow or your team’s one-tap confirm. Mindbody, Glofox, WellnessLiving and Vagaro have real integration programs, but they require the platform’s approval, so we treat them as “confirm first, never promise.” You’ll know exactly which path your system supports — in writing — before anything is signed.

Does the guarantee apply here too?

Yes — the setup milestone works the same way: you hear it working on your own call types before the service starts, and if that first milestone isn’t right, you don’t pay for it.
