For restaurants & cafés

Fill tables, not voicemail.

The short answer

Loving Idea builds restaurants and cafés a website that sells the room — a readable menu, real photos, reservations — plus an AI host that answers calls and questions during service, and automation that confirms bookings and invites reviews.

Sites are one-time from $1,000 and work with the reservation system you already use.

Sound familiar?

The three problems that empty tables

The phone rings during the rush

Friday, 6:50 PM: the host is seating a party of six and the phone keeps ringing. That caller books somewhere quieter.

The menu is a PDF

Pinch-zooming a scanned menu on a phone kills more reservations than a bad review does.

Tuesdays are too quiet

Regulars love you and still forget you. Nothing tells them the patio opened or the tasting menu changed.

The system

How the same booking happens without you.

Friday, 6:50 PM. Full room, ringing phone.

One Friday-rush question — watch it become a seated table.

What it costs

Most restaurant projects land between $1,000 and $2,800, one-time.

The site starts at $1,000; adding the AI host starts at $800. Both are built around the reservation system you already run.

What moves the price

  • Menu complexity, and how often it changes — we set it up so you can edit it yourself
  • Reservations: we build around what you run — OpenTable or Resy via their own widget in your site, or a simple built-in flow we build for you
  • Online ordering: we connect your existing provider; a full ordering build is quoted separately

FAQ

Questions restaurants & cafés actually ask.

Does it work with my reservation system?

We build around it. OpenTable and Resy keep taking reservations through their own widget, embedded right in your site — the AI host answers the questions and hands guests to it. Prefer to skip the platforms? We build a simple reservation flow of our own. Either way, the floor plan your host sees stays the single source of truth.

Can I update the menu myself?

Yes. You own the site, and the menu is set up to be edited without calling a developer. Change a price at 4 PM; it’s live at 4:01.

Do you do online ordering?

We connect the ordering provider you already use. Building your own ordering — and keeping the delivery apps’ 20–30% cut — is possible too; it’s scoped as its own project.

What about photos?

Real photos of your food and your room — never stock. If you don’t have them, we plan a simple shot list with you before the build starts.
